Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid last week urged students to acquire knowledge through modern education to keep up with the evolving job markets.
“It is urgent to prepare curriculum incorporating ICT to make the students efficient workforces,” he told the 19th of convocation of Independent University at Bashundhara in Dhaka. Speaking on the occasion Nahid said, “You (students) are the future of the country. So, you have to be good citizens through acquiring knowledge to boost the development process for building a prosperous Bangladesh.” Nahid urged the authorities to ensure good academic atmosphere at every educational institution in order to make those free from all sorts of terror activities.
