FBCCI Demands to Simplify the New Import Laws

    Members of top business organization Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) decided to demand for, simplifying the new export laws, at one of their meeting. A letter was sent to the Ministry of Finance, stating their issues.
    They proposed of rearranging the import price-limits & decreasing the annual certificate renewal fee. Such as, increasing the first stage of import limit from 5 lacs to 8 lacs taka worth of products. Then, decreasing the renewal fee from 3 thousand taka to 1 thousand. Also, the registration fee should be 2 thousand taka. But at the second stage, they demanded to decrease the import amount limit from 25 to 20 lacs taka. Then, decreasing registration fee by half & renewal fee by one-third. So on.
