Bangladesh is actively campaigning since its singing into the Nuclear Weapon Disarmament Treaty. With the United Nation, on 7 July. Also,Bangladesh totally supports all the current strategies & continuity that, UN is aiming for, expressed Masud Bin Momen, Bangladesh Delegate & Ambassador to UN. At the UN general council’s plenary seminar regarding International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, on 26 September.He also reminded about Honorable PM Sheikh Hasina’s speech at UN 2013 meeting, regarding this matter. That Bangladesh government believes, only social development & public empowerment can bring highest form of stability. The cost for achieving that, would be much lower than a non-benefiting nuclear warfare.
Ambassador Masud gave this speech while sharing his support on the necessity of calling another plenary seminar in 2018.
