Almost every Rohingya family fleeing from Rakhine State in Myanmar is using mobile phones and Bangladeshi operators SIM. They can buy the SIM operators of this country after crossing the border and entering Bangladesh.Investigation has revealed that locals are giving Bangladeshi SIMs in exchange of money to the Rohingyas. In the area around Rohingya camp, these SIMs were sold without any papers. The Rohingyas were helped by the brokers to enter Bangladesh. These brokers used to provide SIM and mobile services in Bangladesh. So, the Rohingyas sometimes get the SIM of this country before entering Bangladesh.
