Ministry of Foreign Affairs faxed the Bangladesh Missions in the foreign countries to monitor the works, involvements and conducts of the journalists traveling abroad. Standing Committee Member of the ministry, Mahjabin Khaled first proposed this in their 12th Committee Meeting on 30 March.
Mahjabin Khaled mentions that, some treacherous journalists were invited to Pakistan High Commission and took them for a tour in Pakistan recently. These culprits are spreading false information and propaganda about the War Criminals. They are working against the sacred ideals of the Liberation. Therefore, committing treasons. Few more Pakistani idealist Bangladeshi journalists have invited again. Foreign Affairs Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali said, Bangladesh Embassy Officials in Pakistan also keeping track records of such ill bargains. This step was taken after the further discussion with them.
