The Squires Castle in Willoughby Hills in United States is said to be haunted by the woman who once used to own it. The owner used to roam the castle at nights with her lantern with her. It was believed that she used to sleepwalk. However, one fateful day, she walked into the trophy room of the house and saw something that she was literally scared to death. Some say she saw something unearthly that scared her so much and some say that she was shocked to see her own shadow. In recent times, the ghost of Mrs. Squire is known to have returned to the castle. The red light from her lantern is seen flickering from nooks and corners of the castle by visitors.
