Bandai Namco Games has announced the starting of the Tales of Zestiria the Xanime on their official website. The premiere will be held on July 3 in Tokyo MX, with airings on July 5 on Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, and BS11.
The story goes like:
Sorey grew up among some spiritual beings that are invisible to human and are called “Seraphim”. He believes in saying that “long ago, every human was able to see the seraphim” and dreams to make the world favorable for people and Seraphim to live peacefully together. While visiting the human world for the first time, he gets engaged in an incident in which he withdraws a holy sword attached to a rock and then becomes a shepherd who removes misery from the world. He becomes conscious about his
mission and his dream of staying together between mankind and the Seraphim. And this is how the shepherd starts his astonishing journey.
Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Symphonia the Animation) and Akira Matsushima adapt the character designs at anime studio Ufotable.
