One person was electrocuted in Sonapata village under Debiganj upazila of the district this morning.
The victim was identified as Mohiruddin, 50.
Local people said Mohiruddin came in contact with an electric line when he was plucking nut plant from the field. Live electric line fell on the nut plant field in the morning.
