Philippines bear the largest transgender population where they have sufficient rights to thrive. They do have the proper amount of respect for them as human being and never ever get criticized for their gender-nonconformist. In the Philippines, call centers have become sanctuary for gender-nonconforming people. The transgender do have the sufficient amount of knowledge in computer and alphabets as they are trained in different schools and projects.
In the call centers, transgender people get the comfort in treating them like women workers. They want to be treated as general women and dressed up as women. In some case scenario, they work being a male member, but most of them work as women. Hear the reason from one of them, “There was a big advantage as a woman over the phone. When a man is irate I can be sweet to them, and women customers are nicer to their own gender.”
The call centers’ salaries have given them the economical freedom and they can thrive on their own with a separate identity. The people in Philippines have changed their views and vows in terms of treating the transgender people. The ethical ideology can set a massive example and due to this the people working in the offices of transgender can have a massive moral upgrade and they can earn complete respect as a working class family member.
The income has also allowed some of them to go through a procedure of attaining the modern surgeries of feminizing themselves. This is a massive decision in earning respect and also money has given them the chance to attain even their desired gender hood as a whole.
Most of the transgender in the current status quo has been suffering from the vicarious upheaval of begging or flowing freely in the street or forced beggars under their distinctive leaders. Even most of their families do not allow them or consider them as their family members and also leave them out in the streets right after they are born or sell them to the leaders that they are up to.
It’s high time we must take action and an uprising must take place in order to recognize them as a human being and full member righteous citizens of the state. Take a bow Philippines. The world says kudos to you.
