The former WWE tag team champion, Renee Dupree has filed a suit against the WWE, that too naming not just himself but several others as victims of the company. The case states that Renee and several other wrestlers have not received enough recompense or royalties compared to the revenue that they have brought into the WWE ring for years. As evidence, Dupree’s lawyers have presented the court with his contact signed in 2003, which states that he is guaranteed 25% of all earnings made from WWE licensed products. Jesse Ventura pressed a similar suit in 1991, regarding royalties from video tapes; he went on to win the suit and $800,000.
