Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive seized 20 maunds of jatka (hilsa fry less than 10 inches in length) from the Bhola river in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.
Coast Guard sources said on a tip-off, a team of the force conducted the drive in the river around 8am and seized the jatka along with some current nets from a fishing trawler.
However, no one was arrested in this connection.
