Armed robbers looted valuables from a house killing a man at Gudamghao in Kamalnagar upazila early Wednesday.
Police and locals said a gang of armed robbers, numbering 15/20, entered the house of Abdul Wadud Jamadar breaking open the door in the dead of night and started to loot valuables.
As the house inmates raised a hue and cry, the robbers stabbed and opened fire at them, leaving Wadud dead on the spot and three others injured. The injured were rushed to Kamalnagar Upazila Health Complex from where they were shifted to Noakhali General Hospital.
