Bangladesh International School hosted their first ever debate tournament, which kicked off on the 31st of March and ended on the 2nd of April, 2016. The Organization Committee and the dedicated volunteers worked day and night to pull of this incredible debut tourney. Given the strict teachers and time restrictions, this tournament ran smoother than anyone expected it to. The tournament also consisted of some of the youngest Adjudication Cores, 38 novice teams, and 10 experienced teams. The participants were served with their favorite junk food- Takeout Burgers on the first day, and other delicious items on the second and third day. With a lot of drama and suspense while announcing the winners of each round, the tournament ended with a bang, after the inspirational speech made by the principal of BIS. Mastermind School bagged the winner’s trophy for the Novice Category, and Academia won in the Open Category. The home-team BIS, with a 100% break record, was the novice runners up, while St. Joseph Higher Secondary School was the open runners up.
