Miscreants gunned down a man near Kamal Chairman Bridge at Sharifpur under Begumganj upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Faruq, 27, a motorcycle mechanic and son of Nurul Amin of Bepari Bari village of the upazila.He was admitted into Noakhali General Hospital.
A case was filed in this connection.
