Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong District Mesbah Uddin deems Chittagong to be the leading district in the fields of art, literature, culture and especially journalism. He also said that journalists can play a role in developing the country by connecting the government, the administration and the general public with the news they present. He expressed his hopes that the journalist working for the Chittagong Reporter’s Unity will also be able to do so. He made such comments during the function to celebrate the 5th founding anniversary of Chittagong Reporters’ Unity held at the Muslim Institute Hall on Wednesday.
