Mikaila Ulmer began her journey when she was 4 and encouraged by her parents to take part in the Austin lemonade competition. Two events happened almost simultaneously which propelled her journey forward, first she was stung by a bee and almost began to have a phobia and next she received a 1940’s family recipe from her Grandmother with a recipe for Flaxseed Lemonade. She overcame her fear of bees by attending a bee workshop and finally went on to incorporate honey into her lemonade recipe and made it a hit. Since then she has been in high demand as the youngest CEO and entrepreneur of her own company BeeSweet Lemonade. Recently she landed a sweet deal with FUBU CEO Daymond John. The multi millionaire has offered to not only finance Mikaila’s project but also mentor the savvy young businesswoman to new heights.
He believes that Mikaila will go far with her innovation and take over or at least be on par with the global beverage brands like Coca-Cola.
