The dreadful affects of watching porn has long been debated in various studies and by various people. A study conducted and published by The Journal Of Sex Research, has recently busted a few myths. The study has reported findings that support the viewing of porn as positive. They say that men and women who watch these types of films have a higher likelihood of treating women as equals and appreciate women holding higher positions of authority.
The study further revealed that those who watched porn we more open minded and positive regarding illegal abortion, women’s rights and women in powerful positions. Feminist studies have shown that watching porn causes a man to view a woman as an object of dire and as an ends to a mean, this recent study however is said to have refuted this claim, by proving that this is not the case and watching porn or not has no relation with the objectification of women. Rather they accept the mindset in their growing year of puberty from the environment around them; there is no relation to the support of feminism whether you watch porn or not.
