A street guitarist Yishay Montgomery defended himself with a guitar against a Hamas terrorist attacker during the recent series of shootings by Palestinian attackers in Israel. His attacker managed to take the life of an American tourist before attacking him, but he successfully managed to fend him off using his trusted guitar as a weapon. During the onslaught, Yishay was seen wearing a Tool t shirt. Yishay talked about it to Channel 2, he said “”I was sitting down playing guitar and I heard screaming from across the street. I saw a man run at me with a knife; I ran at him with the guitar and smashed it in his head. He was so stunned and didn’t know what to do with himself and then started running away.”
His guitar took some serious damage due to the heavy battering. Although, a GoFoundMe was launched after the story spread across the internet, managed to collect $ 4,000 within the span of a day.
