ICC associate nation United Arab Emirates (UAE) won the toss and elected to bat first against Test playing Pakistan in the 6th T20I of the 13th Asia Cup at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Monday.
Pakistan brought one change in their squad that played against India on Saturday.
Left arm spin bowler Mohammad Nawaz who became the third-highest wicket-taker in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League, making his T20I debut in the match in place of Wahab Riaz.
Pakistan made their start losing to India by 5 wickets with 27 balls remaining in the tournament 4th match.
UAE also made one change in their squad. They included Usman Mushtaq in place of Saqlain Haider.
This is the 3rd match for UAE while 2nd for Pakistan in the five nation tournament.
UAE lost their two matches against Bangladesh by 51 runs while started their tournament campaign losing Sri Lanka by 14 runs.
UAE squad: Rohan Mustafa, Muhammad Kaleem, Mohammad Shahzad, Shaiman Anwar, Muhammad Usman, Swapnil Patil, Amjad Javed (captain), Fahad Tariq, Ahmed Raza, Usman Mushtaq and Mohammad Naveed.
Pakistan squad: Mohammad Hafeez, Sharjeel Khan, Khurram Manzoor, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shahid Afridi (captain), Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Irfan.
