Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and the regions of Rajshahi and Pabna, a weather bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The Met Office sources said the country witnessed chilly weather after mid-December as the first spell of cold wave swept during the period and second spell of cold hit its some parts almost exactly one month later. This year’s winter season was largely normal, he added.
