Two cousins were killed in an attack allegedly by their nephews at Gobindhal village in Singair upazila on Sunday over the share of money and land.
Five people were also injured in the attack that took place in the morning.
The deceased were identified as Aziz Mollah, 55, son of late Rahim Mollah, and his cousin Tendol Mollah, 50, son of Dirgaj Mollah of the village.
Victims’ uncle Belayet Hossain said Tendol’s sister Hasina and his nephew Rashid Hossain (another sister’s son) used to live in Bahrain. Hasina, who had no children, died in Bahrain five months ago and she was buried
He also said they seized weapons used in the attack but the attackers went into hiding.
