The publication ceremony of “”Budhha Shobvata O Budhha Kirti Deshay Deshay .” written by Jyoti Bikash Barua was held at Dhaka University on 27th September. Organized jointly by Pali and Buddhist Study Department of D.U. , and Kasbon Prokashoni, the ceremony was attended by a number of prominent intellectuals from home and abroad. Dr. Anisuzzaman, professor, emeritus, Dhaka University, was the chief guest. Dr, Mohua Mukharjee, ex-dean, Rabindra Varati university and Dr, Monsur musa were the special guests. Dr. Shukomol Barua was keynote speaker. All of them praised engineer Jyoti Bikash Barua for his excellent work and urged the audience to buy this invaluable book to know about the Buddhist heritage and also how in many places they were destroyed.
