I know you have probably never heard of these guys before the Dolan twins are VERY POPULAR.
The Dolan twins upload videos documenting their carefree teenage lives on social media which paved their path to glory over 1.8k followers on YouTube.
The 16-year-old boys amassed a crowd of over 2,000 fans in the iPlay America arena in Freehold, New Jersey, last Saturday, for a performance cum meet and greet.
Much alike the mania caused by The Beatles in the 60s, the madness that was initiated by the Dolan twins sent seven teens to the hospital and the other 21 had to be treated on the scene. It was even more chaotic when the duo took of their shirts, because then it became a bloody mess thanks to broken noses, heat exhaustion, panic attacks and sprained ankles. However, it is a bit weird how their stage presence is so effective, because unlike musicians, or any other conventional media personalities, they don’t really do much. As in, they do not act, or sing, or do standup comedy, they just erm…document their lives!
Ethan and Grayson Dolan started their careers in 2013 on Vine, and they were one of the network’s first breakout stars. They soon became members of a community of other young Vine celebrities like Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier, who are also leading similar lives now. Vibne basically served as their gateway to YouTube, where they got signed by multi-channel network- AwesomenessTV.
They twins are currently residing in Los Angeles on their own.
Now you may be wondering, what are they actually doing in videos where they are documenting their loives? Well, their YouTube videos incorporate a collision of genres like vlogging, sketch comedy, pranks, and shirtless deliciousness. One of their most popular videos showcase how weirdly cute Grayson was acting under the influence of Anesthesia after his wisdom teeth got pulled out. In another one of their hit videos, Grayson and his British friend Harrison duct tape Ethan to the door, with a cracked egg on his head, and leaves him their for two hours.
What basically made them popular is their hotness and cuteness. It is not really a big deal that their videos don’t have other components, like musical skills or an immense sense of humor. Simply being their hot selves is good enough for them.
