Creative studio Marshmallow Laser Feast has discovered a way for people to experience a walk through the woods like no human has before. Committed to the ‘hacking’ of human perception, the team utilized scanning technologies such as CT and LiDAR in combination with a 360° drone camera to create a digital replica of the Grizedale Forest in Britain.
They used this virtual forest rendering and created helmets that allow you to wander through the woods while visualizing an artistic interpretation of how different animals such as a dragonfly, frog, and even an owl would perceive the same woods.
