DU campus can endure everything

I have found nothing to troll with the remark of Dhaka University Vice Chancellor. The university has been able to hold its attraction for decades. The DU campus can endure everything. You can have a cup of tea with light snacks at Tk 10 on the campus. In addition, this is the only campus in the world where you can move freely. People come here for dating and spending some time together. Any relative coming from village can easily several nights here without any let or hindrance from the university authorities. People swarm the campus on the occasions of Victory Day, Pahela Baishak or any other festival. You can manage a job quickly if you have acquaintances on the campus. Several hundred teachers have been recruited in the last couple of years and the detractors say that voters have been recruited. The teachers may one day outnumber the students in some departments if the trend continues. But if you take it positively you will see that people can survive on the campus with doing something. All are equal on the campus, be it a tea vendor or a student.
It matters little whether you are a student of the campus or not, you will see that the campus hold all together with its unique love and affection. The university VC just echoed the matter. None will return here empty handed. Even sculptor Mrinal Haque may be allowed to install a statue of Rabindranath Tagore on the campus, if he wishes so. Translated by Hossen Sohel.
