But now Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in hit HBO Show Game of Thrones, has also staked a claim on the role.
Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has described how she watched the recent episode of the show that featured a nude scene of hers in the company of her parents.Last week’s episode of the HBO fantasy show saw Clarke’s character Daenerys emerge naked from a raging fire.
Talking to US TV’s Live! With Kelly about how she came to watch the episode with her parents, she said: “They were kind of like ‘You’re not doing much this season’, so I told them to watch this one episode.”
After revealing that they failed to be convinced, Clarke says: “I ended up sitting them down and saying ‘Let’s watch it’. I instantly regretted it. I was like ‘Oh dear’. My dad was like, ‘Again?'”
