UNB: An elderly woman was burned to death when a fire broke out at her house in Bhoshbagh area of Kabirhat upazila. The deceased was identified as Nasima Khatun, 60, wife of Abu Bakar Siddique of the village. The fire broke out at the house when a gas cylinder exploded around 10 pm and spread soon, said Sub-inspector Abdul Wadud of Kabirhat Police Station.
All but Nasima managed to came out from the house.
Later, police recovered the charred body from the ashes, he added.
