DOT Desk: At least two people were killed and 15 others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch on Choumuhoni-Feni road at Jamidarhat Boropul of Begumganj in Noakhali on Wednesday night.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet, reports the New Age BD.
Firoz Alam Molla, officer-in-charge of Begumganj Police Station, said the accident took place at around 10:00pm when a Feni-bound bus of ‘Sugandha Paribahan’ from Noakhali plunged into the road side ditch after one of it’s wheels got punctured, leaving two killed on the spot and 15 others injured.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
