DOT Desk: Police recovered the slaughtered body of a woman from her house in Dighirpar area in Nawabganj upazila of Dhaka, reports The Daily Observer. Deceased Parul Aktar, 38, was the wife of Akkas Fakir. Nawabganj Police Station OC Mostafa Kamal said Parul’s son Parvez found the blood-stained body of his mother in her room around 10:30am.

Hearing his cry for help, local people rushed to the scene and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body.
The victim’s brother Jewel claimed that his brother-in-law killed his sister as he is a drug addict.
The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical Hospital Hospital morgue.
Akkas Fakir went into hiding after the incident, the OC said.
