    1. Start with defining the best version of yourself. Everyone is different and you need to define the terms for your success. You need to know yourself and sharpen the terms accordingly. Jot down your values, strengths and weaknesses on a piece of paper. Then, set goals for yourself. List everything you want to achieve and work towards it, little-by-little, everyday. Make sure you state your goals positively. For example, instead of “I want to be less worried about my appearance,” write “I want to be confident about my appearance.” And, be specific about your goals.

    2. Find an inspiration. It can be a person or a landmark. It can be anything. Discover what or who it is and treasure it. You could start carrying around a small notepad and writing down small inspirational moments as you progress through the day.

    3. Learn to come to terms with failure. The first step to success is to accept failure. Know that setbacks and failures are natural. Know that failure to achieve a goal doesn’t mean that you are a failure as a person. Learn from it and move on. Visualize your past successes for a mental boost.

    4. Keep going. The journey to achieve your full potential is a life-long one. A person’s abilities are not static or fixed. You have to stay committed to the process of self-improvement.
