UNB: New Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Monday said he would not tolerate corruption in his ministry.
“We have to fulfill the promises we made before the election. The people’s expectations must be answered by working with honesty and sincerity,” he said at a views exchanege meeting with heads of departments and agencies under the ministry.
Majid reminded the officials that they were tasked with serving the people. “If you keep this in mind, then every task will become easy,” he said.
State Minister Kamal Ahmed Majumder said the mninistry had an important role to play in the development of the country by helping the industries flourish and creating employment.
