DOT Desk: A passerby killed in a road accident at Hill View resident area under Panchalish thana this evening, reports The Daily Observer. The deceased was identified as Shahida Akter, 40, wife of Abu Tyub, hailed from the same area. Nayek M Amir of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost confirmed the news.
He said Shahida went for her evening walk and a speedy truck hit her around 5:00pm.
She was rushed to CMCH where on duty doctors declared her dead, Amir added.
