Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College commits quality healthcare

    DOT Desk: Doctors at a programme on Tuesday said Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College and Hospital is committed to providing better healthcare service in the New Year, reports The Daily Sun.
    They made the commitment at the conference room of the hospital.
    Prof Dr Abu Ubaid Muhammad Mohsin, Principal of Bashundhara Ad-Din Medical College and Hospital, was present as the chief guest while Deputy Director Wahida Hasin presided over the meeting.
    Director of the hospital Barrister Rafiq-ul-Haque and vice-principal Md Jahangir were present as special guests.
    All doctors, nurses, officers and employees of the organisation were present at the event.
    The best doctors, nurses, officers and employees were rewarded after evaluating their last year’s work. Directives were given to doctors, nurses, officers and employees to work ceaselessly to improve healthcare service.
    Speaking on the occasion, Wahida Hasin said: “We always try to provide quality services for patients. In the New Year, we started working to provide better healthcare. We provide the highest quality service at low cost.
    We perform Caesareans at the lowest cost in Keraniganj.

    “We have two departmental stores named Upoma and Utsho. Sometimes patients come to hospital without necessary things and they have to return home or go to shop for buying them. Considering it, Upoma and Utsho have opened. Here everything is available at fair price.

    “There is also 24-hour ambulance service at a low cost.”
    In his speech, Hospital Manager Md. Siddiqur Rahman Sumon said that free treatment was provided from morning to 2:00 pm on Tuesday on the occasion of the New Year. Nearly five hundred patients received treatment, he said.
