Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in holding a free, fair and inclusive election

Awami League president Sheikh Hasina said that she and her party want every political party to contest the 11th parliamentary election. PM said that it’s political parties’ right and people will cast vote as they choose. Therefore, every political party should be able conduct their election campaign freely and fairly, PM added. In this regard, Ambassador Muhammad Zamir said that our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in holding a free, fair and inclusive election and today’s election is a reflection of her wishes to hold the 11th parliamentary election in a congenial environment. Our PM meant what she said and that is evident from her willingness to sit for dialogues with other political parties before today’s election. Our PM has assisted the Election Commission whole heartedly in this electoral process. EC needed co-operation from other political parties as well for conducting this election, which it didn’t get. Our PM deserves the rights to legitimately hope that people would vote for “boat” to ensure victory of pro-liberation forces.
