The third two-day Peace Summit ended at Dhanmondi, Dhaka yesterday. Preneur Lab, a tech-based organisation, hosted the summit in association with Facebook South Asia Policy Team and EMK Center at the latter’s office. Topics discussed at the event include “Impact of General Election 2018 in Bangladesh Economy and Opportunities for Young People” and “Role of Media in upcoming election”. The event focused on employment of young people, creating new startups, ease of doing business, women’s participation, skilled manpower, utilising the NRB network and other major issues.
Newspaper editors, jounalists, young professionals, economists, academicians and industry leaders attended the event to discuss the way forward for Bangladesh’s economy and the media.
Challenges that can hamper the growth were also on the agenda.
