Inam Ahmed Chowdhury speaks to DOT : Everybody has reached a consensus over the politics. The country’s politics has now become poll-centric and the election has become constituency-centric. All the contestants and their supporters are now in the fields over the upcoming elections.
Violence has ensued in some places of the country. The law enforcing agencies should take proper steps in this regard. We all hope that there will be violence.
The election commissioners may have different point of views. That’s why the Election Commission is comprised of more than one member. The members will come up with their different point of views and the decision will be taken based on the majority. This is the feature of the EC. To me, the difference of opinion is nothing unusual. So, there is nothing to be concerned about. We hope that the EC will discharge its duties properly.
