‘Amar Dhaka’ and ‘Amar Kolkata’ unveiled at Bengal Boi

Bengal Boi hosted a book launch event during which two books, Amar Dhaka by Shamsur Rahman and Amar Kolkata by Belal Choudhury were proudly presented. The editor of Prothom Alo, Matiur Rahman graced the occasion with his presence and read out few passages from both the books, reports the Daily Star. Amar Dhaka provides a deep insight into the unseen beauty of Puran Dhaka.
Shamsur Rahman believed that the true essence of a city does not lie in the sparkling lights or the long roads or the horn of vehicles.
