Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, the directing duo whose 2011 comedy The Intouchables became one of France’s biggest hits of all time, will reunite for a new comedy. C’est La Vie, which Gaumont will introduce to the market in Cannes next week, will star Jean-Pierre Bacri and Gilles Lellouche and be centered on the day in the life of Max, a wedding planner who is forced to deal with annoying client requests, feuding employees and relatives who freeload, all in the name of love.
