Don’t get admitted into banned medical colleges, Nasim asks students

    Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim on Sunday asked the students not to get admitted into those private medical colleges banned by the ministry as the government would not take any responsibility for it, reports Thee Daily Observer.
    “We would not take responsibility if any student gets admitted into those private medical colleges banned by the ministry for irregularities,” he said.
    He was presiding over a meeting on the policy of private medical colleges, said a press release.
    Nasin said “Moreover we would take stern action against the authorities of the banned private medical colleges and cancel the registration of the students,” he added. He urged the BMDC to look into the matter of cancelation of registration of the students. Secretary of the ministry GM Salehuddin, Chittagong Medical University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M Ismail, President of Swachip Prof Dr. Iqbal Arslan, Secretary General of BMA were present, among others.
