    One killed in elephant attack in Jamalpur

    A young man was killed and another injured in an attack by a wild elephant at Satanipara in Bakshiganj upazila early Monday.
    The deceased was identified as Saju Miah, 31, son of Idris Ali, a resident of the area.
    The elephant attacked Saju and Khokan as they tried to shoo away the animal, leaving Saju dead on the spot and Khokan injured.    -UNB
