Nazrul Islam Mukul, Kushtia
A human chain has been formed in Kushtia in a bid to get all the payments of the municipal staff, e.g. their wage, PF pensions and gratuity, to be paid 100% from the Government Treasury.
The conference was held on Monday at 11am in NS Road of Kushtia.
Rabiul Islam, executive engineer of the municipality, Employees Union President Ghulam Sarwa, Joint General Secretary Amanullah Aman, Bheramara municipalities Employees Union President Amir Hossain, General Secretary Rajbel Hossain, President of Dhaka Union of Municipal Employees Asadul Haq, General Secretary Rafiqul Islam, President of the Union Kumarkhari Municipality Employees Rahman, General Secretary of the Alamin, President of the Union Khoksa municipality employees Ashraful Alam and General Secretary Shamim Ahmed Babu, among others. Kushtia Municipality officials attended the program.
