At least two shops were gutted in a fire at south Kattoli area under Pahartali thana in the city at 1.45 am on Sunday night.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from cooking oven from one of the shop at south Kattoli area under Pahartali thana 1.45 am and it quickly engulfed the surrounding shops.
On information, two units of fire fighters from Agrabad Fire Station rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control around 2.30 am.
