There can be no doubt that almost half of our internet time gets allocated to youtube. The problem is, with the vast number of channels floating around, it really is a hassle to judge which ones are worthy for you to subscribe to. So here’s a list of youtube channels that you can watch and probably die laughing while you watch them.
Smosh
Smosh is a Youtube channel that makes comedy sketch videos. Run by Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla, the channel has made its way through the vast myriad of youtube channels. The name of the channel was actually conceived when the Ian misheard a friend say “mosh pit” and heard “smosh pit” instead. At this point, smosh has 21 million subscibers and 5.3 million views. Personally, I find their videos to be witty and really funny and I doubt that it’s possible to sit through a few of their videos without bursting into laughter.
Supergirl
As a Bangladeshi, its really easy to relate to her videos which usually make fun of how a traditional Indian person thinks and her parodies are just hilarious. The Canadian-Indian comedian has made her way into the stand-up comedy scene and is doing quite well too at this point. She has parodied everything from people of this sub-continent using toilet paper to the way we look at white people and her videos are excellent in terms of content and the “funny factor”.
Nigahiga
This is just amazing. Period. His videos are absolutely hilarious and his jokes always on point. There are very few Youtubers who can captivate an audience like him. He started his Youtube journey with lip syncing and now he does everything from comedy sketches to full fledged parody songs. Nigahiga is certainly a channel to check out for anyone roaming around for a laugh.
Pewdewpie
This one is a no-brainer. Everyone knows who Pewdewpie is. He single-handedly pioneered the “Lets play” format on Youtube where the Youtuber goes on commentating while playing a video game. You just need to look at this guy. He will tickle every funny bone in your body and make sure you die laughing. And his “Photoshop” series is a must-see.
