Police recovered the body of a man from a pond at Panchbaria village in Sadar upazila of Jessore district on Friday night.
Sub-inspector of Jessore Kotwali Police Station Biplob Hossain said locals spotted the body of Sahidur Rahman,50, son of Abdul Gani Molla, a resident of the village, floating in the pond, of one Tariqul Islam, in the area at night and informed police.
