As wrestling fans, we complain about the negative so much that the positive things about this wonderful company are overshadowed. Truly, WWE is an amazing promotion. Let’s look at a few of the positives, shall we?
Talent
WWE has a locker room overflowing with talent, like Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose , John Cena, Kevin Owens, Neville and many, many more. These guys are considered some of the best wrestlers in the business. I consider Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and more to be just as good as wrestlers such as, The Young Bucks, Adam Cole, and Jay Lethal, who WWE doesnt have under contract. With the recent signing of top NJPW superstars, AJ Styles and “The King Of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura, WWE has added even more talent to their roster of world famous athletes.
NXT
Wrestling fans always seem to be talking about who is the future of the business? Well with NXT, nobody is ever sure. And thats a good thing because when I say that, I mean we don’t know who the future is because there are so many talented guys. Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, Hideo Itami, Austin Aries, American Alpha, Asuka, and more are a part of NXT and WWE is signing more and more Indy superstars to NXT to help improve the brand. NXT still feels shiny and new, and never fails to put on a great show. With the semi-recent addition of Samoa Joe, NXT once again, has added more talent to their roster, and WWE as a whole. NXT is known as developmental territory, which basically means, “the minor leagues of the WWE.” But these young men and women are some of the greatest wrestlers on earth.
WWE Network
For $9.99 a month, (as a subscriber it’s so worth it. Do yourself a favor and get the network if you don’t have it already) you can get every Raw, Smackdown, Main Event, Superstars, ECW, WCW, and WWE show ever! You also get every WWE, ECW, and WCW Pay Per View ever.
Rich History
One of my favorite things about WWE is the history it has and the way that WWE embraces it. First the Golden Era, with stars like Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, The Ultimate Warrior, and Bruno Sammartino. Then the Attitude Era with stars like Steve Austin, The Rock, Mankind, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and HHH. The Ruthless Aggression Era produced stars like Chris Jericho, Edge, Jeff Hardy, Batista and Ric Flair (who wrestled in the 80’s and 90’s too). And the PG era with CM Punk, Randy Orton, John Cena, and more. WWE’s rich history includes more than 50 years of wrestling moments.
