Following a stormy hearing now Senate judiciary committee is to vote on Friday that might say what will be the next for kavanaugh. In the light of third accusation for sexual misconduct while termed by Trump as ‘a real gem’ Kavanaugh described it as ‘ridiculous and ‘from the Twilight Zone’, in a statement brought out by the White House.
Dr Christine Blasey Ford the California professor is the third woman who accuses Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her. Trump has

persuasively defended Kavanaugh screening suspicion on the accusers and their intentions recounting Kavanaugh as “a real gem”.
The Senate judiciary committee is required to clearing Kavanaugh’s nomination before the full chamber holding a vote. The committee is currently comprised of 11 Republicans and 10 Democrats, leaving the majority with little and therefore the nomination could be left in an imaginary state if just one Republican ceases or interrupts.Even if the panel narrowly approves Kavanaugh, it is not clear if he has sufficient votes to be confirmed by the Senate. All eyes are on crucial GOP (Grand Opposition Party refers to Republican) swing-vote of senators who have raised concerns about Kavanaugh.
Earlier Donald Trump had not ruled out withdrawing Kavanaugh’s nomination, awaiting the outcome of hearing on Thursday. Trump defended Kavanaugh saying he looked forward to what Ford had to say while speaking with reporters at the United Nations.
“I can be persuaded also,” Trump said. “I’m going to see what’s said. It’s possible they will be convincing.”
Ahead of hearing on Thursday Trump reportedly phoned Kavanaugh to push back forcefully. Many observers, however, interpreted Kavanaugh’s aggressive testimony as intended for the president.
“Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!” tweets Trump on 28 September, 2018. Sequence of events from Twilight Zone: In early July President Trump picked Judge Brett Kavanaugh for a Supreme Court seat.
From then on came Christine Blasey Ford’s allegation, made public Sept. 16, that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the 1980s, when they were high school students.
New accusation came, from Deborah Ramirez, who said Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a drunken dormitory party. Again, Kavanaugh denied the charge, saying: “This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen.”
