With all the tweets flying around these days about the woman who hid her poop in her purse on a date, we thought it high time to bring out a story on poop!. Yes people it’s a trending and important topic, a day without the little guy can be agonizing and you know it. But here’s a new take on how talking about poop to your partner can strengthen your relationship.Studies have shown that when you can open up to your partner about your smelly business it creates a more relaxed, intimate, trusting and long lasting relationship. When you let go of your embarrassment and fear to talk about essentials which are also health relevant it creates a stronger mental bond with people. Granted, we all want our relationships to be lovey-dovey and shrouded with mystery and romance but hey some time or the other you have to come back down to earth and face the facts. Plus if you share essential information with a loved one, they in turn can share it with a doctor if you have complications and are not able to communicate at the time. Also think of a relationship where you know each other bathroom habits and can be aware or else open about when to enter the bathroom when the other has left, what to keep at home if someone has a bowel problem, what foods can and cannot be ordered at restaurants and dates.
So there you have it folks, talk about poop and you’re bound to have a sounder relationship. There’s no need to feel awkward talking about the most natural thing in the world.
