Morocco finalizes world’s largest solar power complex Xinhua

Morocco is finalizing Noor Ouarzazate solar complex, the world’s largest solar plant, said the engineering and technology group SENER.
SENER said it is about to start the final tests at Noor Ouarzazate III, after completing the first synchronization of the 150 MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plant to the Moroccan grid.
The plant represents a critical step in the Moroccan Solar Energy Program, which aims to generate 42 percent of its electrical power from renewable energy by 2020, and 52 percent by 2030.
