Desk Report: Police arrested four people and recovered a huge number of fake deeds and equipment of making fake deeds at Iluhar of Banaripara in Barisal on Wednesday, reports The New Age. Police seized fake non-judicial stamp, huge amount of fake deeds, several hundred rubber stamps of different offices, fake decrees, and fake warrants along with other documents.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Abdul Mannan Talukdar, said Barishal superintendent of police Saiful Islam at a press conference.
Later, police also arrested Babul Chaukidar, Shajahan Hawladar and Nazar Ali Mridha from Chawk Bazar and Bagura Road of Barishal city.
Preparation of filing a case is on, he added.
