Unions say about 100 sewer workers die each year. We need good safety equipment. Another life has been lost and for what? For nothing. For going to work. We are in the 21st century and we need the right safety equipment for our jobs everyday.
This photo of his young son crying next to his dead body was shared on social media thousands of times, and now the equivalent of $43,000 has been raised (3 million rupees.)
This has shown to me the benefits of social media; but social media can’t bring this man’s life back, and my heart is screaming for his poor, young son.
